Webxites Among Houston's Fastest Growing Technology Companies
Houston , TX - November 05, 2004 - Houston 's Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies were honored at a luncheon presented by the Houston Business Journal . The luncheon was held at the Hilton Americas Hotel. After posting 175% revenue growth during 2003 Webxites was honored as Houston 's 5th fastest growing technology company. This marks Webxites second consecutive year being ranked in the top 5.
Some of this year's Top 50 honorees included Tanox, The Gimmal Group and iDriveon-line . Over 600 men and women in the technology community gathered to cheer on this year's Fast Tech 50 where the rankings were announced for the first time to the public. Companies were ranked based on percentage growth of revenue over the past two years.
In only its third year has experienced tremendous growth. Webxites President Gene McCubbin says "We are extremely happy with our progress. In fact we've grown dramatically since the end of 2003 with revenue currently surpassing $1million a month"
Honorees and their organizations were profiled in the Fast Tech 50 special section available exclusively in the Houston Business Journal 's November 5 th issue. This section includes success stories of some of the most recognized technology companies in Houston 's business community.
